I am a homeschooling mom of 4 with numerous years of sewing experience. I have taught many young people the art of machine sewing.
My approach to teaching sewing involves giving kids the satisfaction of quick success which I feel motivates them to improve. Projects will not be perfectly tailored, but as confidence grows, we will build and refine one or two skills in each session as we go along. We will really celebrate accomplishment and success! Students will produce a small stuffed animal and a totebag.
If you don’t have a sewing machine, you may rent one of mine for $5 per class. (Availability is limited, and you will need to let me know in advance!) Students provide basic sewing supplies and materials for projects. Upon registration, I will send a materials list.
