Work Experience
Grassroots Engagement Director, Libre Initiative, NM June 2020-present • I work alongside local team members and community leaders in order to engage volunteers in the political process. While making daily, creative attempts to connect with additional social circles, I also continually educate myself to the needs of NM and how to better utilize our resources to educate and push for legislative change through lobbying and grassroots organizing.

Additionally, I taught Music Appreciation, Music History, all of the Piano Classes, Theory courses, and Aural Skills courses. I was tasked with student recruitment as well. • In this position I dealt with many underprivileged students of color as well as many non-traditional students. In some classes, half of the students were older than 60 years of age, which was a wonderful learning experience. • I also taught the Music Appreciation classes at LUNA, the local community college.

Responsible for accompanying the entire department (both the faculty and students) in their recitals, the fall musical, community outreach events, and any other events as needed. Additionally, I worked to promote the department, recruit new students, help with the maintenance of the piano fleet, stage every concert, provided background piano for campus events, and played my own solo concerts. • This was my first, full-time, tenure-track faculty position. I have learned and grown both personally and professionally in ways that are impossible to put into a CV.
