Welcome to our 2020 Virtual Christmas Silent Auction! We have continued to facilitate classes through this pandemic but it has required navigating many challenges especially increased costs and reduced participation by both teachers and students. It is vital that we continue to facilitate classes this spring, not only to contribute to student's educational needs but also as a mental health remedy amidst rising rates of youth depression and suicide. We need your help! Our summer fundraiser was cancelled due to COVID-19 and our donations are down. You can help by participating in our silent auction and sharing it with friends, family and associates you think will participate.
How it works: Through some generous donations we are auctioning off the following items which have a picture, a description and an estimated value. All proceeds will benefit PLANT. The auction will run December 7, 2020 - December 14, 2020. Items will be available for pick up at Escape in Time 1100 San Mateo Blvd on between 9:00am - 12:00pm December 15, 16 and 22. If you wish to bid on an item complete the appropriately named contact form with name, email and phone. Final bids must be submitted by 2:00pm Monday, December 14, 2020. Winners will be notified and payment must be made via the donate button on our support page by 9:00pm prior to the date of pick up.
Auto Bids: Bids amounts will be updated each day by 9:00am. If you would like to avoid checking everyday, you can choose to 'auto bid'. If you choose, 'Yes' your bid will be automatically increase by the increment amount each time you are out bid up to the point of your specified 'max bid'. If you choose 'yes' please be sure to specify the maximum bid that you are not willing to exceed.
Buy Now Option: There is also a 'Buy Now' option that will allow you to purchase the item immediately and remove it from the auction. You will have to specify a purchase price equal to or above the 'buy now' price. Payment is due within 2 hours.
Tax-deductible receipt: Any amount paid over the stated value of the item is considered a tax-deductible donation to PLANT and a donation receipt will be included when you pick up the item.
Shipping: We are willing to ship items out of the city, if you are not able to pick them up. You will be responsible for paying the actual shipping charges. You will need to contact our volunteer coordinator, Brenda at [email protected] with an address and credit card number.

This unique and ornate nativity is 16” wide and 20” tall. Each detailed, standing figure is about 4” tall by 1-1/2” diameter. (The baby is smaller.) The donor of this recommends using glue dots or something similar when setting it up so the figures don’t fall and break. Two of the figures have broken limbs which are almost imperceptible. Created by Bethe Sailer. 10.5" x 7.75," this stained glass nativity glows in the light, and is designed to be beautiful even when not illuminated by the sun. Using lovely handmade golden brown glass in Joseph's robes, the lovely marbled streaky sky blue, and rose pink in Mary's robes, and Jesus' swaddling blanket in royal purple, Mary and Joseph are given an expressive pose to show their tenderness and love for the baby Jesus. Fully reversible. This nativity panel features 24 individual pieces of hand-cut stained glass. The glass pieces were handled in the Tiffany method: cut to an original pattern, the edges were wrapped in copper tape, fitted together, and then soldered. The nativity is enhanced with a copper patina, fitted with a jewelry-quality copper hanging chain and then waxed for lasting luster. Valued at $127, Starting Bid $30, $5 increments. |

Nilla Rose is a lusciously lathering artisan soap. It is part of my new line of lovely larger bars. Pumpkin Spice & Honey, Oatmeal, Milk & Honey & Merry. Handmade, artisan, cold process soap, is made with a blend of olive, palm & coconut oils, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, and select blends of botanicals, micas, etc. All ingredients are listed on each individual label. Sustainably sourced, natural, clean, vegan, green, eco-friendly, quality soaps. Hand made in small batches, these bars are incubated overnight and then hand cut. These bars are hand cut and weights vary slightly. Weight also varies due to moisture level in the soap and the amount of time they have been cut. Soaps tend to last longer if they have dried at least 3-4 weeks and are kept dry when not in use (i.e. not left in water in a soap dish) After drying for a few weeks, they are packaged & labeled.
