In C.S. Lewis’s classic book The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe the poor professor laments: “Logic! . . . Why don’t they teach logic at these schools?” Logic is a vital part of a classical and well-rounded education. Not to mention, studying informal logic is just good clean fun! Join us as we learn how to spot 30+ of the most common logical fallacies and learn how NOT to be guilty of using them in arguments ourselves! (Beware parents: Your kids will find fallacies EVERYWHERE when taking this class!)
Grading will include class participation & discussions, quizzes and tests.
