Some of our favorite book and movie characters like Sherlock and Spock are logic geniuses! How do their minds work? What really is the study of Formal Logic? Logic is a vital part of a classical and well-rounded education. Join us as we tackle the world of Formal Logic and join the world of logic geniuses! --well, maybe!
Grading will include class participation & discussions, quizzes, and tests.

About Mrs. Amie:
Amie and her husband Rob live in the beautiful East Mountains with their three homeschooled daughters and enjoy all things New Mexico. The Adelmans have been homeschooling members of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS) since 2005. Amie is passionate about spreading an understanding, appreciation, and love of classical education to the homeschooling community. She is the author of Classical Academic Press’s Latin for Children Test and Study Guide Packets for their popular Latin for Children series. She has attended the Veritas Academy Teacher Training Conference -- endorsed by the ACCS, as well as the Latin for Teachers I and Latin for Teachers II “boot camps” -- endorsed by the ACCS, Classical Academic Press, and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Amie has had many years of experience teaching in all sorts of venues other than her own homeschool including: “dining room table” classes, online classes, Sunday School classes, a large homeschool teaching group of 300+ students, and a classical university model school.

- The Discovery of Deduction: An Introduction to Formal Logic by Hodge, Larsen & Johnson (Classical Academic Press)
