Is your student ready for Geometry, but you are not ready to teach it? Let me help!
My classes will provide your student with all necessary high school math skills, as well as prepare him or her for college-level mathematics. We will be using Geometry, by Jurgensen and Brown as our textbook (which will I will provide for your student). My classes are taught at the level of private college-prep schools. Students will be expected to attend all classes and complete 5 assignments each week (including chapter and semester exams). I do all teaching, grading, and record keeping. I will also provide a detailed grade report to be included with your student’s transcripts.
While it can be difficult to weave the Bible directly into math classes, I do try to help students understand how the beauty of mathematics reflects the beauty and genius of our Creator. Math is a gift from God to help us to understand His creation and the laws that govern it.
I have a BS in Mathematics and have taught high school math to hundreds of students; 10 years in the traditional classroom and 10 years teaching homeschooled students. I love being able to teach high school math, while also being a homeschool mom.
